and has enjoyed an active membership right through to the present day. The club encourages all levels of players, and has a good junior membership, encouraged by our focus on coaching and development.
In addition to the club's regular playing times we currently hold 5 open club tournaments, 4 of these are open to all members, and the 5th is the Senior Tournament, first played in 2004. The club also holds a number of junior tournaments in full and Mini-Tennis played throughout the season.
The club also participates in local tennis leagues, with two mixed teams taking part. Our junior programme is also increasingly seeing those members taking part in competition between other local clubs on a friendly basis, and in league matches.
In addition to the tennis, we also hold a number of social events through the year. These have in the past included Quiz Nights, Treasure Hunts, Rounders Games, Horse and Frog Racing Evenings* and our Club Presentation Dinner.
* Not with Real Frogs!
